Main thing of the forum - READ IT !!!

Ok what should I begin with? From the beginning you say Yeah but where is beginning. First of all I want to say that writing a project (especially first in life) is god damn hard task.

This forum has been created to make other countries involved in the creating project process... You should remember that every suggestion about the project is REALLY welcome and we will take everything into consideration.

Ok let's get started. This is info we created:
European Youth Club in Olsztynek/Poland worked on application form to the Youth Program, deadline - 1st of February 2006. The project is a follow up of Action Training carried out by European Youth Club and European Network of Animation (www.enoa.de) which was conducted in Olsztynek in September 2003.
The youth exchange will be focused on Role Playing Games, fantasy literature, music and films
The time frame: 11-21 August
length of the exchange - 10 days including arrival and departure time.The [b]main goal is to show young people alternative ways of spending their spare time by having fun together:
The planned activities are:
· Local happenings prepared by international group ,
· Working together on fantastic literature,
· Share about movies and music on fantasy and play RPGs.
· Intercultural exchange between participants

Participants:
We were looking for 20 people from 4 programme countries (5 people each, one team leader inside), who were interested in fantastic. Communicative level of english is absolutely necessery.
Participants who are taking part in the project are:

-Poland
-Turkey
-Italy
-France
-Portugal


These are ideas we have discussed about:


- We had an idea of creating some kind of dictionary, which would refer to RPG games. We would put there main words like HP (hit points), mana, and so on and then describe them a bit. After the project each country would translate it into its own language and promote it somehow in local community.

- as we mentioned about promoting we have to say that after the project each county is supposed to do something in local community to spead informations about fantasy... We want to create a survey where we could show european commission that knowledge about fantasy isn't that great. We have already made one survey (march 2005) but still we want to make another one as an update. You are also supposed to make such a survey. After the project we will go to schools with another one survey to compare knowledge before and after. You, as partizipants of the project, will be to promote the fantasy in your local communities and conduct a survey afterwards ( to compare the results before your activities and after).

- each of your countries will be supposed to prepare your national mythologies and we will compare them... we will see the differences (I think it's very interesting). As we divide into 4-5 groups (each group will be multinational) we will perform scenes from our mythologies.

- I think it would be really nice to create RPG sessions in multinational groups. Each group would create one session and share with the others afterwards (for example at nights during the playing time )

- During days we would go to our town and make a happening in order to spread info about fantasy and RPG games. I hope some people will be eager to participate at night sessions (but we dont have to paly during night of course)

- We are going to make some more interesting workshops where you won't be bored (I hope ). Everything will be about fantasy + science fiction (if people will be interested in science fiction. However Polish group is rather interested in fantasy).

- It is also possible to create clothes that would match to medieval ages according to every country (the costs are included in 500 euros, which are connected to preperation meeting)

- There will be intercultural evenings at the end of each day.

- Maybe we would also bring our national music connected somehow to medieval ages. It is very interesting. For example Italy has really nice band called Rhapsody and it's connected with fantasy

- We will do our best to provide some other attractions, as well.
